Chorley Advanced Motorists

Who Are We?
We are a group of Advanced Motorists who have passed the IAM's Advanced Driving Test and are keen to pass our knowledge on to other drivers. We are one of around 200 IAM local groups around Britain. We were founded almost 25 years ago. You'll find us a friendly, easy going crowd who will be pleased to welcome you.

What Do We Do?
We are a registered charity, made up of volunteers. Our main aim is to promote road safety. Every year we run a series of courses each of which last approx 10/12 weeks aimed at improving your driving skills. Observers take you (an Associate Member) out in your car and help you to attain the standard of driving required to pass the IAM driving test and become a Full Member

We then encourage Members to train to become "Observers" and "Senior Observers" who can then go on to guide further Associates.

We also have a social side - we regularly have dinners and events social such as go-karting, visits, clay pigeon shooting to name a few.

We publish a regular newsletter as well as having a website which both help to keep our members/friends in touch with all our activities.

When/Where Do We Meet?
We meet every Sunday morning at 10.15am on the:-
